As I sit to write this post, the scripture from Matthew 6:27 NKJV comes to my mind. "Which of you by worrying can add a cubit to his stature?
There are days it is difficult not to worry about your present situation or the tasks at hand...but I want to encourage us to pause...Just for a moment...for 15 seconds...look up to Jesus, that good part, as Mary did in Luke chapter 10. When we choose that good part, Jesus, strongholds begin to break, Jericho walls come tumbling, and the Son shines. What worries and cares are you struggling with today that you need to surrender at Jesus feet?
1 Peter 5:7 NIV, "Cast all your anxiety on him because he cares for you."
Matthew 11:28-30 NKJV, "Come to Me, all you who labor and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and lowly in heart, and you will find rest for you souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light."
