Sometimes we go through a situation that brings fear. What does the Bible say about fear? One of the most recent scriptures I've memorized is this: Deuteronomy 31:8, "The Lord Himself goes before you and will be with you; He will never leave you nor forsake you. Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged." This is the command that Moses gave Joshua as he was to lead the Israelites into the promise land. I want to encourage us not to be afraid because the Lord is with us always. He is before us preparing the hope and future that He promised us in Jeremiah 29:11. So when fear begins to speak, remind fear about your God! 1 John 4:4 NKJV reminds us, "You are of God, little children, and have overcome them, because He who is in you is greater than he who is in the world." So take heart! Be courageous! And trust that God is with you and for you!
In His love,
Question for thought:
What are you afraid of?
How can you use God's word to break this stronghold in your life? To make it obedient to the word of God?
What does God say about you?
